New identity for New York’s Altantic Theatre Company. Love.

My desire for the colour orange is bordering on a little obsessive but that isn’t the only reason I love this new identity for the bold theatre company Atlantic. I love the use of the triangular shape that apparently represents the ‘A’ in Atlantic – it’s everywhere – and why not, it’s such a strong, simple, in-yer-face graphic. For me, it also references the shape of a megaphone – harking back to the old days of circuses and theatres, when the ringmaster or theatre equivalent, encouraged patrons to come to their show. Designed by Paula Scher of Pentagram fame. Found on It’s Nice That
